Facebook Ad Account Spending Limits: Questions to Ask Before Ordering

· TheFBace Editorial

Spending limits appear prominently in Facebook ad account listings, but a headline figure is only one part of an account arrangement. Before ordering, ask what the figure refers to, which details are current, and how the option fits your planned activity. This guide focuses on making that enquiry precise.

Put the advertised figure in context

When a listing mentions $250, $1,500, or an uncapped arrangement, ask what that description means for the specific option being discussed. Request confirmation of the current status and any relevant conditions. A product title can remain the same while availability or account details change.

Avoid assuming that a headline figure describes every control that might affect a campaign. Ask the provider to explain the arrangement in terms that relate to your business, then compare those answers across the options you are considering.

Describe your own budget separately

State the amount you plan to allocate to advertising and the period it covers. Explain whether you expect it to change. This is your business plan; it should be discussed separately from the account characteristics advertised by a provider.

For example, a business planning a gradual campaign test has different questions from a team managing several active campaigns. Include that context instead of selecting an account solely because the largest number appears in its title.

Separate advertising spend from service costs

Ask for an itemized explanation of the setup cost, ongoing service fees, funding arrangements, and any other charges that apply. Make sure you understand which amounts are used for advertising and which amounts pay for the service.

If you are comparing providers, use the same categories in each comparison. This prevents a headline account price from hiding important differences in funding, management, or support arrangements.

Ask what is confirmed at handover

Write down the account details that need to be checked when access is arranged. Ask which information can be reviewed beforehand and what steps confirm the service has been delivered as agreed. If a spending requirement is essential, include it explicitly in that record.

Account conditions and platform decisions can change. Ask how questions or changes will be handled after handover and what the agreed support covers. Do not interpret an account description as a promise of permanent conditions or guaranteed campaign outcomes.

Keep the enquiry short and specific

A useful message identifies your business, the product you are considering, your expected advertising budget, and the questions you need answered. Ask about current availability, the complete price, access, delivery, and support in one conversation.

Keep passwords, billing credentials, recovery codes, and personal identity documents out of that first message. Start with the business requirement and agree on the next steps before providing sensitive information.

Compare the available options

Our product catalogue groups the available listings by type. You can explore Business Manager products and agency ad accounts, then ask the team to explain the current differences. The agency account enquiry guide provides a brief you can adapt.
