Facebook Agency Ad Accounts: How to Prepare Your Enquiry
· TheFBace Editorial
A useful agency ad account enquiry gives the provider enough context to discuss suitable options. It is more effective than asking for the “best account” without explaining what your business needs. Start with your advertising plans, the people involved, and the practical details you want clarified.
Describe the business and intended activity
Explain what your business offers, the website or landing page involved, and the markets you plan to advertise in. Keep the summary factual and short. A provider cannot usefully discuss account arrangements without understanding the activity behind them.
If you manage work for clients, explain that relationship and who will be responsible for campaign decisions. Do not assume that a setup intended for one business automatically fits a different client or use case.
State your spending requirements clearly
Share an approximate planned budget and say whether it may change. Ask which spending arrangements apply to the offered account, what is confirmed at handover, and which limits may be outside the provider’s control. Record the answer in plain language.
Distinguish the advertising budget from the price of the service and any funding or management fees. “Unlimited” in a listing should prompt a specific question about the current arrangement, not an assumption that every form of spending control disappears.
Ask who handles billing and funding
Discuss how the account will be funded, which charges apply, and who can answer billing questions. Ask about supported payment arrangements, any minimum funding requirement, and how unused balances are handled under the actual service terms.
Request the total cost before deciding. A low setup price does not describe an entire billing arrangement, and a comparison should include the practical cost of using and supporting the account.
Map access and responsibility
List who needs to manage campaigns, approve changes, and review results. Ask how the team receives access and what happens if a team member leaves. Make it clear who is authorized to request changes from the provider.
If your existing Page or other business assets will be involved, include that in the enquiry. Access arrangements are easier to discuss before an order than during a rushed handover.
Confirm support, delivery and service boundaries
Ask how delivery is organized and what you will check to confirm completion. Discuss the support channel, the scope of help, and any replacement or refund terms that apply to the particular account option. Keep a written record of the agreement.
Avoid treating agency status as a guarantee that advertisements will be approved or that campaigns will perform in a particular way. Your advertising activity still needs to be evaluated on its own terms.
A short enquiry you can adapt
“We advertise [business type] to [markets]. We need [team access] and expect an approximate budget of [range]. Please explain the current account options, billing arrangements, service fees, delivery steps, and support terms.”
